  • Night latches are commonly known as Yale locks and are use to secure, lock and open front doors.
  • From the outside of the front door a key is inserted into the rim cylinder or Yale barrel, when turned through 90 degrees the door can be opened.
  • On the inside of the door is the lock body, when the small handle or knob is turned the door can be pulled open. On the high security locks the door can also be double locked from the inside for extra security.
  • We stock standard double locking night latches from Jedo, York and Yale.
  • Our high security night latches from Yale, ERA and Ingersoll, have cylinder protection, anti-thrust latch bolts and are tested to the latest British Standard BS 3621 making them ideal for meeting insurance company requirements as well as offering high security levels.
  • For front doors to flats we stock a range of roller bolt night latches and escape locks tested to BS 8621 which comply with the latest building and fire regulations and are designed to stop people being double locked inside the property.
  • We also stock a range of replacement rim cylinders for standard Yale locks, night latches and Ingersoll locks, which are ideal for those locking just to update the outside cylinder only.
