These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase from G Johns & Sons Ltd. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Orders & pricing

All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. Prices are shown inclusive and exclusive of VAT via the on-site toggle; the price charged at checkout includes VAT at the prevailing rate. We take care to describe products accurately, but slight variation in hand-finished items is normal and not a fault.

2. Payment & Buy Now, Pay Later

We accept major cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna. Buy-now-pay-later options are provided by third parties (e.g. Klarna) subject to their own terms and eligibility/affordability checks. We are not party to your credit agreement with the provider.

3. Delivery

Free tracked delivery applies to orders over £100 (£5.95 below). Estimated dispatch and arrival dates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk passes to you on delivery; where you choose a safe-place option you accept the associated risk.

4. Returns & guarantee

Unused goods in original packaging may be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange; we'll arrange collection. Bespoke, cut-to-size or special-order items are non-returnable unless faulty. Mechanical products carry a 10-year guarantee against manufacturing defects under normal use. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

5. Trade accounts

Trade pricing and credit terms are offered subject to status and a satisfactory account application. Invoices on 30-day terms must be settled by the due date; we reserve the right to suspend accounts in arrears.

6. Liability

Advice and scheduling are provided in good faith by qualified ironmongers, but final responsibility for specification, fire-compliance sign-off and fitting rests with the customer or their contractor. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. For any question, contact our team or call 020 8360 7771.
