Our double lobby / corridor kit with electromagnetic swing free door closers is ideal to specify or purchase for double doors in care homes, offices, schools, hotels and hospitals, that require fire doors to be free swinging during normal use.

This non locking kit is supplied with pull handles and push plates to open the door with and electromagnetic swing free door closers.

Supplied with unique swing-free door closers developed specifically to meet the needs of care home facilities. In a class of its own, these closers offers pecific features that reduce the risk of injury to residents as well as eradicating the need to wedge doors open.

ANTI-SLAM: The swing-free mode on closers can allow a door to slam shut. Whether this is accidental, deliberate, or just caused by a draught, it poses a real risk to frail residents. This closer has been specifically developed with an anti-slam function that controls and slows the motion of the door.

DRIFT RESISTANCE: Offers a low-level control on the door, which stops it from drifting from its open position – eradicating the need to wedge doors open, yet still allowing the door to operate freely to the user.

High performance ironmongery including grade 14, concealed nylon bearing fire rated hinges (maintenance free with no grease) and a high quality EN1154 2-5 power overhead door closer.

Products tested for use on 30 minute FD30 and 60 minute FD60 timber fire rated doors and frames. 

• Our FD30 kit is supplied with 1mm thick intumescent hinge pad liners
• Our FD60 kit is supplied with 2mm thick intumescent hinge pad liners.
