Key lockable via an alun key and grub screw - low level security
This fastener can be locked by screwing the grub screw into the fastener with the alun key provided. This stops the fastener from moving hence stopping the window from being opened
Wedge pattern fastener - when in the closed position the window handle sits over a "wedge plate" mounted to the window frame, this pulls the window in with a nice tight seal and keeps it held closed
This fastener is reversible so can be used on windows hung on the left or right
